Preventing hair loss is one of the easiest ways to address your concerns over hair loss and often it just involved using some commons sense. If your eating habits are low in iron intake, then consider taking iron supplements.

  3. “Avoid chemical warfare” on your head! Some harsh chemicals used in perms and hot oil treatments for hair may actually damage the hair follicles so badly that hair will not longer grow there. To much switching from one hair product to another may also cause a negative reaction on your scalp resulting in more hair loss.
  4. “Don’t Cry-Air Dry” One easy way of preventing hair loss is to avoid using hot electric hair driers on your hair. These may make your hair very brittle and result in split ends and other damaging effects.
  5. “Don’t sweat the small stuff” in other words try to avoid needless stress in your life. Reducing stress is a means of preventing hair loss.
  6. “Take Care” of yourself as your hair is depending on you. Good health is an important way of preventing hair loss since some medications may have negative side effects.
  7. “Rest those weary bones”! Research has linked sleep disorders or even just a lack of a proper sleep habits to hair loss, so preventing hair loss may be as easy as getting enough sleep.
